[modulair]

Modulair Aviation System is based on the idea that boarding takes place inside the airport, not inside the aircraft and leads to faster and more comfortable boarding. The complete aircraft interior can be extracted at the airport, divided into several modules and therefore is part of the terminal. In the same time the airplane can be reloaded with another capsule, which has already been prepared for take-off. Passenger’s benefi ts: waiting periods, boarding and deboarding times are shortened to a minimum to guarantee a stressless, on schedule flight. With a vast variety of modules, new markets can be opened up and new business models can evolve. Modules can be design individually and combined in alliance, so that different airlines can fly in one aircraft together.
Modulair Terminal simplifies the luggage infrastructure for fewer malfunctions and a faster dispatch. Modules are positioned automatically by industrial robots working in clusters following the requested composition of the capsule. The whole capsule is prepared at the terminal before the passengers arrive to assure a working sub-system, which can easily be repaired or customized at any time before the aircraft arrives.
